Magazine contents one

My contents headline is a rhetorical question saying "Whats Todays Gossip?" I have used this method because it makes the reader feel as though the magazine is directed towards them.

The background of my contents page has various types of sporting equipment, this will attract a male audience to the magazine as it is sport related. But positioned in front of the equipment in the foreground are two letters from students at Goff's school expressing their views on different subjects, this attracts females as they usually are more inclined to have an interest in school intrigue. These make the magazine seem more uni sex. In the background at the bottom left of my contents page their is a medium close up shot of a male spinning a ball on his finger, this adds to the page by making it more interesting and less plain. The actual list of content is located on the upper left side of the page where it is easily available to veiw.
