Magazine cover two

This is my second front cover for the Goff's school magazine. The title of my magazine is "Hot Topic" it is placed on the far left of the cover with the letters going down. I chose this title because usually a "Hot Topic" is something that is normally controversial and which everyone is debating. My target audience,  Goff's school students, will think they may find this magazine interesting when they see the title, as the word "Hot" draws them in and suggests that the main "Topic" of the magazine will be new, interesting and perhaps educational. On my front cover i have used a short headline "bullied or bully" this will attract my target audience as everyone in education usually knows or is someone in these two circumstances, if anyone falls in to these catagories they will be encouraged to buy the magazine in order to receive more information.

The main image is a medium close up i have used this camera shot to present the facial expression that makes the reader presume the boy is bullied. I have also used this camera shot to show that the boy is holding his phone this links with the headline as it states "call our helpline."

I have positioned the price in the bottom left of the cover just underneath the end of the title, the price is not so bold on this cover but is still only ninety nine pence, again i chose this price as it physcologically makes the reader think the price is cheaper than it is. The bar code and date are positioned on the far right of the page in the bottom corner as they are not very important and do not attract the reader.
